They're going to be good, I'm waiting for the 50 anniversary ones to come in.

My Sidi Ergo 2 Carbo Lite shoes arrived this week. My first thought were, Much ado about nothing ! Very expensive for what they are. I sent them back. I'll stick with my Pro Road's for another year!

nicey nicey can't believe you didn't like them. Hope you went for a ride in them first.

I think you have to like Sidis to like Sidis if you see what i mean. A bit like Assos, etc.

Will I be shot for saying that I prefer Genius' to Ergo's?

Also, they appear to come up quite small

No not from me bender. Some people do prefer them to Ergos.

Yes they do come up small if you don't get the right size nicey. But you could get a half size that would probably fit you better.

Can you fit an orthotic insole in the Sidi's, any model and still have a good fit round the heel area?

I recently got a pair of the 2009 ergos. 30% off but still expensive. very nice fasteners etc and in my opinion worth the money as I hope they will last a long time.

I have put orthotics in mine, however they don't fit right to the very back of the shoe which is very narrow. But you can adjust the heel fit with a screw so its still a very snug fit. I would advise you to take your orthotics to the shop to try them on to be sure of the fit though....oh and as said elsewhere I'm normally a 42 (even in other sidis) but I got a 43 in these.

Worth every penny and then some.

The half sizes make them so much better.Best shoes I have tried that I can remember.
Also, they look rather swish. Mine are white/white.

Thanks to the new versions my LBS had some vernice white Ergo2s for 199 quid. Thought I'd treat myself for 'Leg Break Day'...

My Genius' bear the scars of that crash so I'll keep them though...

I am in the NE of England but haven't seen any in the LBS. Any one know somewhere that stocks the SIDI's, preferably Ergo 2's to try on ??
