edited April 2010 in Your road bikes
It's taken a while, mainly as I have changed my mind on the spec more times than I care to mention. Add that to a hernia-repair three weeks ago, and there wasn't much point in rushing the build. A huge amount of thanks go to Bicycle in RIchmond, SW London. Dave and Szabi were both unbelievably patient, and the build is as much a reflection on them as it is on me. I've yet to meet a better advert for an LBS (or any other kind of shop if I'm being honest). And the 2010 Cannondales look fantastic to my eye.

Obviously just finished, the stem need sorting, and there's loads of adjustments to make to the fit over the next few weeks, but I am totally thrilled with how it has come out. A combination of light and cool and day-to-day usability I hope (Powertap etc). I'll give some ride thoughts this week as I venture back on the roads.

Need advice on a suitable seatpost clamp.

Pics below (probably blown the NapD rules, but I tried!)

Lol, bottle cages arriving this week, but I wasn't going to miss the chance to try it!
  • Then all you need to do is file off the cable guides...

Anyway, cool bike there. I think most of us would really like to have a go with Di2, even devout Camp\gnolo/Sram fans. How much will you charge for a quick spin? Oh and 58 is just my size!

I have, but that doesn't have Schwalbe inner tubes so by default, this is better.

please define "bestest" is it the best looking ,best ride, most expensive. looks are subjective as is how it rides. i hope this post does not make me look jealous coz im not honest, i swear on my puppies life

Thank you for all the comments. I'm really pleased with the bike, and my quick rides today have reassured me that it rides just as well as it looks. Di2 is just amazing, as well as being ridiculously clever.

Hmm... note to self: go visit Cannondale dealer and ask why they don't have this on display??!!

All they keep at my local is the Liquigas versions in Kermit green.

You sure about the 3T Doric post? I've tried the Team version, and it's (a) a pain to install and (b) more importantly, has zero setback. Worked fine on an older, slack-angled frame with a looooooong top tube, but on this...?

Looks like your FSA post there has at least 25 mm setback - change that out and you may be up for a new stem, and possible squirrelly handling??

the 3t doric post is generic taiwan post used by amongst others, superstar components, exotic components, saso and so on. you can buy the exact same post minus the 3t graphics for around £30-£40 ish. for a build of this quality id want more than a cheapo post . a ritchey super logic or easton ec90 would be more suited in my opinion

LOL but you have a titanium winter bike also.i`m sure that eases the pain. That and the Quadpower just balances things out nicely.Your Cervelo is still some bike though is`nt it.
Only thing ive got going for me is i have a ritchey super logic post

In fact the Litespeed frame was more expensive than the Cervelo. And it has a Powertap...

That said. I would love a Cannondale Hi-Mod... Especially with that chainset...

I've ordered the new Dorico seatpost, with 25mm layback, to avoid that 'squirrelly' feeling! Definitely need layback.
