Orbea Aqua or Trek 2.1

Hello I am considering either an Orbea or Trek, however my nearest Orbea dealer is to far away from me but I have Trek dealers all around me.

I would like to try the Orbea for size, so could I try the Trek 2.1 and if that is fitted ok could I then buy the Orbea via mail order? Would the sizes transfer? I would be a 54cm frame I believe as I am 5ft11 and have an inseam of 33inches.

Any soloutions? I do like the Orbea.

    Try before you buy - sizes change between brands so you can't compare a 56cm brand A with a 56cm Brand B.

    I also would think that at 5'11" a 56cm would be a better fit, but get a bike fit if you can.

    I have an 09 trek 1.9, also 5'11 and 33" inseam,,,,mine is a 56 and fits well. I sat on a 58, which was too large, but never even considered a 54.

    Hi,

    I had the exact same dilema, i was torn between the Trek 1.7(2009) and the Orbea Aqua T105. I went for the orbea. Its ordered and should get it in 3 weeks cant wait. I am just under 6ft and i have been measured up for the 54 frame on the orbea with a 10cm stem. cant wait to get on it. go orbea!!!!!!!!

    OK I may well do go for the Orbea, as for trying the bike out for real, the Orbea dealer is in worcstershire aan I live in Birmingham and I have no car.
