I said I hoped Rabon would take it and I am glad.
That he wins a Stage race with a mountain in it though is shameful as it meant no proper GC rider went for it.Contador is the Greatest0 -

I bet Rabon really debated within himself whether he should go on the podium, the shame of taking the leaders jersey in an early season stage race, he'll be on a downer now.
FF, your heroic lone verbal breakaways, attacking the gradient of convention to leave behind the normality of thought... it's entertaining stuff. Even if it's guff Keep it coming!
Back on planet earth, well done to Rabon. He's excelled in short distance TTs for some time and I hope he manages to keep progressing, that he doesn't just end up as a wagon in Cavendish's lead out train.0 -
Ok Kleber, would you prefer a Stage race that includes an impressive double climb to be won by a top TT rider or a mountain or GC specialist? I know what I prefer but understand that other people have differing opinions.Contador is the Greatest0

I would expect a race which had 30km between the stage finishes and any mountains to be won by an in form time triallist - and clearly Rabon has brilliant form.0
