I finished this build yesterday afternoon. I haven't ridden it yet, but my dad has and the reports are positive.







Giant 980c Cadex frame: carbon/aluminium with aluminium forks
Stem and bars pinched from my old Peugeot (they're light, aluminium?)
Campagnolo Veloce 10sp groupset
Campagnolo Khamsin G3 wheels
PUSH aluminium seatpost
Selle Italia saddle - the colour scheme's out, but it's comfortable!
Look KEO Easy pedals

It's for days like today when the weather's shitty and also for my dad to borrow if he wishes to join me for rides in the summer.

Yeah classic frame i wanted one back then, but had to settle for the peloton super light which i really liked.I hope it brings you some great times.

I've enjoyed it already; went up to Emley Moor today. Our kid was playing football there so it was a good excuse. Not that I needed one!

It rides lovely for its age; the frame isn't as responsive/tight as newer bikes, but it still goes very well. In fact I came across a TT yesterday and had a few unmistakable "blimey, what's he pushing?" stares from the competitors!

It's my design and I love it, but I need to swap the tyres out for something lighter/faster as I'm not really impressed with the Contis.

Oh man! Love it! I used to race one of these back in the day! With Chorus and Shamals. Great times. Such a good bike. It was so comfortable, stable yet responsive and gave such confidence... It cornered like a beast and going downhill at speed was as easy as drinking tea!

If you ever want to sell I'll buy it off you, depending on size.
