I have the crappy dual pivot 2203 brakes on my winter bike (Trek 1.2) and wondered if anyone could recommend any pads for these specifically. Can I use Dura Ace or Kool Stops with them, and should I replace just the pads or the holders too?

All my focus has gone on to the carbon and whilst I've kept the Trek in good nick I haven't bothered to upgrade the pads until now.

A mate has a spare set of these and I wondered if they'd fit. They certainly look the same size as the current ones.

If you already have the holders, any shimano compatible pads will fit.

Change of plan and going to stick some 105's on. Shimano brakes have come down in price quite a lot lately so I might as well, and they'll be a real improvement on the cr*p that's on there at the moment.
