Disc braking - displacing front wheel

Let me explain.....
As I brake, the caliper closes, pushing outside pad against disc, then disc flexes inwards slightly until also hits fixed inside pad (tektro io btw). But recently, I've noticed that the front wheel now seems to flex in response, displacing about .5 to 1 cm towards the brake side. I'm sure it didn't used to but could be wrong.
Rear wheel seems ok.
Any ideas?
Cheers

over a year old, and had the free "running in" service. Nothing since professionally, just various work with my own fair hands.
Wheel looks true, but do you think all the spokes need tightening? If I do it myself, any rule of thumb as how to gauge tension as have no funds at mo to buy tools/ get it done by lbs!
