Has any tyre company produced or tested triangular M.T.B. tyres? (Like the Dunlop TT 100 tyres I used on my Bonneville.)

I would have thought they'd improve front end handling, with narrow central section for more precise steering, and less rolling resistance (on firm ground). Cornering should benefit from greater tyre contact too. There should still be grip for soft ground too, in that the whole tyre would dig down for full contact.

    nope.

the ground is to dynamic compared to tarmac. Rod tyres do have a similar idea but more to do with the compounds.

Low pressures would mean it wouldn't keep the profile either.
