How do you remove/fit Shimano Ultegra levers to a drop bars?

I have a new handle bar. I literally want to slide of the shifters from the old bars and slide them on to the new bars. How do you do this?

If there is a step by step guide with visuals that would be most appreciated. Thanks.

In simple terms you put a 5mm allen key down the outside of the hood. On the side of the shifter there is a slim groove to guide you. Turn the allen key anti-clockwise.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    yep in the manual.

there is a allen bolt to release the clamping tension. you will need to have the tape removed or new clamps on the new bars.

Are you sure its an allen key and not a screw driver job as that's the only thing I can see that's visible

DDD - easy job. take the tape off. Might need to pull back the hoods a little.

I might need to post a picture (Ultegra SL shifters). Pulled the hood back and the only visible thing I could see was a tiny screw that needs a phillps head screw driver...

See the little slot starting where the hood meets the plastic of the lever, halfway up?

Shove a 5mm allen key down it.
