lovely day today did anyone go for a bike ride? :) if so which route did you take and how long were you out for :) ?

    I was there yesterday on foot. A lovely week it's turned out to be, after I cancelled my tour because of the sh!t forecast and used the week off to do some serious bike maintenance, keeping it off the road all week :cry:

    I go home to Formby tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to a ride, probably Clieves Hill and over Halsall at the weekend, it will be my first ride out this year.

    Drove back from Cardiff to Caernarfon today. WOW!
    Sky totally Azure Blue, sparce cloud cover. Mountains over 2,000ft still snow covered.

    The view across the "Cob" in Portmadoc towards the Snowdon range was outstanding!!!

    Got the rest of this and next week off. Ride, ride and ride some more methinks!

    If you go round Clieves Hill at the weekend, watch out for mud. The whole place is covered in it, especially at the bottom of Shepherds Lane.
