Planet X Dilema

I have now sold my black PX SL Carbon in order to buy a pink one. The problem is, if the new Planet X frame is coming out, does that mean that there will be a discount on the current one? I don't want to spend my money and then it be reduced the next day. However, Planet X have said:
So if you’re thinking of our best selling carbon wheels or carbon frames, you need to buy now because in 10 days time they’re going up by 25 quid.
So how likely is it that the current frame will be discounted?

As far as I know the Sl Pro is not being discomtinued and is quite different from the new frame so why would they discount it or reduce the selling price? I can't imagine that they have a profit margin that could take that kind of a hit from the usual price. It's a good frameset, if you one want buy it. I did, don't feel that I could have done much better on a ride quality/price equation.

Is it worth waiting for a few months then...? The current prices are very tempting as I will be acquiring my summer bike from PX in June :D Exciting times....!

Going by what Dave Loughran (PlanetX head honcho) says about the new frame on the current New PlanetX Frame thread the new one will be an out and out race frame with the emphasis on performance over comfort. The current SL Pro seems to me to be a very good all round frame, plenty comfortable enough for long day rides - as for racing on it, I'm never going to so can't comment.
it's also worth looking at that thread to read Loughrans post on the design, commissioning and purchasing of the various framesets they have done and do. Most of it you could have guessed at but I've never seen anyone in the bike trade (and I used to be in the bike trade) be so upfront and honest about how these things operate...
It certainly earns more respect for them as far as I'm concerned - mind you, the neon green on the Schwalbe Stelvios I just bought is pretty lurid, no wonder they were selling at 20quid. :)
