The new Ibis stuff started arriving at OnePlanet's shop at Llandegla today whilst I was having my tea and cake after a ride.

This is a medium to be made up to a demo bike and they have a Large frame coming for stock...which I will buy :P

I am in love....

Me too, really fancy a MOJO HD, would be completely wasted on me but I love the shape, especially with the weave showing through, one day.......
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result

When work picks up, *maybe* next year I am going to build something special, this fits the bill, simply stunning...... Im talking an all bells and whistles build......

But I also have always had a hankering for a Foes 2.1 Prolite ;)

But that is awesome, the weave on that is amazing!!!

Do they do a alu model? would be worried about snapping/scratching/breaking a carbon one

And not an alu one? Might just be as prone to snapping - depends how is contructed.

I don't get the irrational fear of composite materials. I just don't see forums filled with riders of broken carbon frames....in fact I probably see more broken Aluminium frames than I do carbon.
  • i'm sorry but that GT is anything But pretty! how can it be comparable to the ibis!

Ooh, same frame as mine ;) By far the smoothest bike frame I've ever seen by a long shot, look closer and you just see more details, they're lovely.

Yes totally agree. Aren't all frames made to the same European CEN standards irrespective of the material used for construction.
