Nice end to the day

Not been able to get out on the bike lately work, jobs at home, illness all conspiring to keep me out of the saddle but not spending money on the bike. Today I thought sod it and took the bike with me so I could go for a ride straight after work.
Work still tried to stop my ride going ahead but I managed to get a ride in at Newmillerdam, Wakefield. It was very muddy and cold but I loved it. All the things I'd bought worked a treat, the Exposure lights lit up the tracks a treat, the Sealskin socks and Fox Antifreeze kept me warm along with the bargain £7 Regetta lightweight fleece and the shorter stem changed the bikes handling to just how I wanted it.
It wasn't a long ride, I finished knackered but it was great to get in the saddle again and with the new lights I can't wait to get out again but hopefully it will be drier next time.
