  • look keo classic i paid a little over £30 for mine (the price seems to have gone up to £42.95 on merlincycles.com) and i went for shimano Ro86 shoes currently £54 on chainreactioncycles.com
Total cost for those is less than your £100 budget.
Have alook in the classifieds, they sometimes have shoes and pedals reduced

    Tony,

My only recommendation is that you try the shoes before you buy them. The fit between each model (nevermind manufacturer) seems to vary a lot.

    No worries.

I wear Spesh BG Pro, but they're outside the £100 price range. People have a lot of good words for Shimano shoes so I doubt you would go far wrong with those on the PlanetX website.

As for pedals, you can get your hands on a pair of Look KEO Easy or Shimano R540 (with cleats included) for about £30. And they will both match those shoes with the three bolt pattern.

Nice bike. How much building of it is required?
