So, who's up for a bit of a reunion. I'm potentially free on either Saturday or Sunday and would be up for a reasonable paced, 50 miler through the Surrey Hills.
It looks like there's already a bit of interest starting on another thread http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12678058, so maybe we can combine the two.
Whaddyathink? I'd be up for an early start - 8.00 or 8.30.

Hey London-Red,
I am up for it!! I'll send you a pm, either ways would work for me, Saturday seems to be warmer but Sunday more stable.
Cheers,0 -
Hey BCSS - good one, we have a peloton!
On reflection, I'm better for Sunday. As long as the weather holds, shall we go for 8.30?
Anyone else?0 -

Thanks Roland - replied via PM.
Anyone else thinking of popping along, just to clarify that reasonable paced means just that - reasonable. We don't drop people on these rides...0 -
despite ice, wind (and fire), which even made self-proclaimed 'Pros' turn around we made it out to box hill and were rewarded by awesome weather and a stunning ride
made 50 miles at c.15mph (though average is a bit screwed due to missing autostop) with c.3,200ft of elevation gain, so a good 4 hours on the road with a 20min break on top of box hill
david, was a pleasure, any time again! And hope to have some more folks with us next time0 -

Cheers Roland - a cracking ride today. I enjoyed every bit of it , even the walking - which I'm sure skewed the average speed a bit ;-)
As for the self-proclaimed pros... Wimps.
Thanks for the note Phips - I reckon now the weather's come back we'll get a few regulars coming along again.0
