Is there such a thing as a Lycra repair patch?

I went out today and with all the rain yesterday one of the lanes I cycled was flooded. I tried to pick my way through it but ended up hitting an unseen edge and had a clipless moment.
I was wearing my bib tights that were a Christmas present and unfortunately put a hole in the left knee when I went down. I've only worn the a few times so was p***ed off, the hole is about an inch square.
So, as per the title, is the such a thing as a 'repair' patch which I can sew/stick either on the inside or outside, to give me some more wear out of them without my left kneecap freezing and saving me the cost of another new pair?
If there's no such thing as a patch, any suggestions for a repair?
Thanks

Google for GoreTex repair patches - self adhesive, stretchy and stick like poo to a blanket!Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

If the tights have a key pocket or similar that you don't really need, use the material to make a sow-on patch for the knee. Worked well on my running tights0

I haven't heard of lycra patches before. Gore's siteseems to be aimed at their waterproofs and aren't permanent:• Tests show that the patches hold up after five home launderings and can be easily removed when permanent repairs are made.
• Patches are not recommended for permanent repairs.A fanatic is one who can’t change his mind and won’t change the subject - Churchill0 -
Following on from the Gore post, I did some Googling of my own and the following seemed to be about the best I could find. I think it's aimed more at wet suits but does mention Lycra body suits, and my rip is at the thickest part of the knee so think it'll do. I'll order and let you know what it's like.

Black marker pen under the holed area on your kneeI've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

I initially went with the terminator look and felt good for a while, then my left knee cap got cold so eventually picked up the IronMend kit from the post office yesterday.
Due out on a ride this morning so have just cut a piece about 2"x2" and ironed it on. Has stuck really well but the telling will be in the riding so will let those of you interested, how it performs later. It's not going to be a long ride, taking a friend out who bought his first roadie yesterday, along with all the kit, so it'll be a pleasant 15 miler or so, but should give the repair a test.Limited Edition Boardman Team Carbon No. 448

No problems with the patch I ironed on, didn't come away at all during the ride, so just need to see how it washes.
Pleased with it and feel I've found a solution to the problem of repairing lycra.Limited Edition Boardman Team Carbon No. 448

Just an update for anyone who is interested. Had the patch on just coming up 2 months and done a good few miles and been through a few of washes. Only thing to have happened was for one corner to start coming away, but got the iron on it today and it's stuck down again. Obviously enough stick left on the patch even after washing. I've got at least another 20 patches left in the piece I got, anyone want a bit to try it?Limited Edition Boardman Team Carbon No. 448

Gore patched should be fine on Lycra. They won't be as flexible as lycra, but there's a bit of give, so they should be fine.
I've used them before, infact my salopettes have a gore patch over a 40mm cut and it's been there for about 10 years. It's survived plenty of flexing, getting wet regularly, and two or three washes per season. It's still showing no signs of budging.
