Hi,

Looking for some shorts, Bib or normal, which are a little bit longer. Not 3/4 lengths but those that come just above the knee. Any recommendations?

Take a look at some of the Castelli offerings - they have shorts that seem to fit the bill. Some of the Cervelo team stuff seems on the longer side, certainly longer than my Assos Mille which ride up like hot pants! Not a good look!

I have quite long gangly legs and these were always good just above the knee for me

Most of the Santini stuff I have seems to be longer legged.

thanks guys. I too have rather odd shaped legs and knobbly knees so these should flatter me a bit. Not that I'm vain of course

I've got some Castelli which I never wear cos they ride up my thighs. I also prefer longer shorts and I have long thighs, bought some Lusso Coolmax bib shorts which are spot on, cost about £45. Now got three pairs the same, made in GB for an added reason to buy.

Try Santini. They were cheap on Chain Reaction a while back.

I have some Santinis and some Endura FS260's - the Santini's are definately longer in the leg. Check out Prendas Ciclismo - they have some great offers on some Santini lines at the moment: http://www.prendas.co.uk/default.asp :D

I don't find Santini Slice to be long on the leg. Assos are too short. Pearl PRO are quite long and I think Rapha are.

Possibly some of the online catalogs may have a "specs" table that might give inseam lengths. It's also not all that uncommon for it to be listed somewhere in the description.
Possibly the brand you're considering has it on their website.

    I meant these:

Although not much choice left now in terms of sizes.

Not quite the same, mine have got white stitching on the seams, which looks good, but look the same length-wise. Have got the same gripper/elastic strip at the bottom of the leg which makes em a bit longer.

Girodana Tenax ones are longish in the leg, at least on me, and I'm 6'1.. worth a try. Lovely bibs too, very comfy.
