That needs a DT Swiss fork in my opinion...

    Nice.

Very impressed with the Trek frame design and quality atm.

Frame was a special order (begging etc) from Trek via Action Bikes in Wimbledon.

As for parts; I think I will start off with Reba forks (DT Swiss ones out of my price range), Hope Hoops and my Formula Ones. Not 100% sure on drive train yet.

Sounds like a nice build, will follow this one.

I have a std 8000. Changed the tyres, rotors and bars.

Hi, recently got one myself...what sort of weights are you guys getting with your current builds and have they improved much after stock setup? I dont think the trek frame is the 'lightest' of its nearest competitors (stumpjumper, xtc1 etc)

My crappy electronic scales say 11.5 kg for a medium which sounds pretty heavy? maybe the tyres were carrying excess mud when i weighed it ;)
