Looks like you've got your photos hosted on your local MTB site? so we can't see them.

You're better off uploading them to Photobucket or Flikr or something

hmm i would like it, but i don't because it's yours, not mine and that is my dream bike. :x
Very nice. what is the bike in the backround on the first pic? another pitch? or is it an enduro?

Is that a great, big red bell on your bars in the first pic?!

Nice looking bike, but prefer the jobbie brown colour scheme on the 09 Pitch personally.

James - Yea its the current Enduro Pro i believe... me and the owner had a good old bit of banter over who's is better etc.... hehe.

Broonster - Yup its a massive Bob the Builder Bell. V handy on Canals and to get annoying (No Offence) Walkers out of the way.

Surely rear brake cable would look much more tidy under bottom bracket?

Sorry folks, those pics are nearly a year old now - Pitch now looks more or less standard.

Apologies joec1, don't want to hijack your thread - I'll gladly edit the photos out if you desire.

Zaskar20 - just so you're aware, seeing this bike on this forum last year was exactly the reason why i decided to buy my Pitch! I was in Oman at the time, and i was counting down the days until i could get home and buy one!

Gee folks, thanks for your kind comments, :D but i've taken the pic down as i didn't want it to detract from the original poster's Pitch. This was not the intention as I was hoping to offer advice on cable placement.

Joec1, as i said before, with the Foxs' front and rear, this bike is awesome! :D

AS i bought the bike pre- "Foxed" im really pleased with the effect it has.

The Fox Talas 36's really give it a "solid" feel, that i think a set of 32's wouldnt give.

while the weight of a set of 36's increases the energy required ot lug the bike around up a hill, its deffo worth it for the great descents and ease of handling.

My previous bike was a Mongoose Tyax, a basic, does what is should nad will give everything a go mountainbike. i was origionally hoping ot just replace the front forks as i couldnt really warrant the £2k tag a new Full sus would cost me. and had settled on Air as the replacement type.

What i love about the Talas is the sheer adaptability that the fork allows, set it at 100mm and its really useable while climbing, the bike becomes shorter and more responsive, 140-160 makes short work (excuse the pun) of jumps, bumps and mistakes on my part (which i have a fair few at the moment)

The cofidence that i get from thsi bike is almost dangerous...

Drop offs and jumps etc that i would normally have riden around i find myself contemplating with the final words being "what the heck"

Anyone thinking of upgrading to a Full susser, with a Pitch on their list of possibilities, will not be dissapointed.

    :)
