    You may be interest in the ride below on Wednesday Caz.

    This week on Wednesday the 3rd of March there will be a ride on the West Pennine Moors, from Darwen to Rivington and back. The route will be about 26/30 miles in length, leaving Bull Hill, Darwen at 9-30am, Tockholes at 10-20am, the Cottage Tea room at Brinscall for elevenses at 10-50am and arriving at Rivington for about noon. The route is a large figure of eight, Tockholes being the crossover point and is over 90% off-road. The loop of the figure of eight from Tockholes to Rivington and back is about 18 miles, if anyone would like a shorter ride. My thoughts are to run this ride, with slight variations on the 1st Wednesday of each month this spring and perhaps through the summer, dependent on member's interest.
