Tubeless! Good ol' Stan.

Got a Conti Explorer supersonic on the front and a maxxis flyweight 330 on the back. The flyweight was a bit of a bugger if I'm honest but got there in the end!

    Total weight saving?

    How much was the kit?

How much of a faf was it to install?

Well I already had the ZTR Olympic rims so all I needed was the yellow tape, valve stems and sealant. The tape was 8 quid for the roll which does about 6 wheels, I got the biggest bottle of sealant at 18.50 (plan to do some experimenting) and 2 valves at 5.50 each. So 38 quid all in.

With the Olympic rim's it was actually remarkably easy to do. I was expecting lots of mess and fuss but It's been a doddle.

As for weight saving, I'm gonna weigh the sealant later and I'll get back to you

  • Outstanding. I'll be taking delivery of some ZTR Flow rims shortly, glad to hear it's easy to sort out. Never done tubeless before.

Think I'll be running Conti Verticals with mine. Either that or Nobby Nic Snakeskins.
