Was raining here earlier. Hosed the mud off, the lubed the CX/Commuter bike for the week ahead. Was going to change the tyres and fit some Ti bolts to the NRS, but it really started to chuck it down.

Sun's just come out now, so might head out to the bike shed after lunch if the weather holds.
  • Best ride for AGES this morning. The initial plan was to ride up the mountain road (still closed due to snow) then ride down the mountain track. Sadly, after riding up the mountain, I found said track was still under about a foot of snow. Thought better of it and rode back down the way I came. Did my local loop instead which was just in perfect condition. Really slippy mud, small patches of ice and snow, and some bits that have already drained off pretty well already.
REALLY glad I decided to stick the heavy Muddy Marys back on last night as I really got to hammer the 456 for the first time in ages and feel much better for it now.

Only downside was meeting the 2 people who had decided to ride UP one of the best singletrack descents we have, can't really be too mad at them though as they werent actually doing anything wrong.

    :D

I was the same yesterday, haven't been out for almost 2 weeks, been running instead. But I was on a boring, flat local route I've done a million times before. But for some reason I absolutely loved it. Had to hose the mud off myself on the drive though.

Most likely a Reign X, it's nice and cheap (rrp is about £2000).
Or build up a bullit or something similar

Good Afternoon, just attempting to do uni work and being distracted at the families antics of trying to take a double glazed window out.
