Folks
After trying for a month, I am throwing in the towel and taking my unfinished mountain bike to a shop to sort out remaining issues. I childishly bought a frame (Specialized Epic 2008) and all the parts separately hoping that I could build a bike and learn how it all works but for some reason, cannot sort out the headset (Hope) and forks. The forks (Reba World Cup) came fitted with the star nut but I cannot get the fork to sit in the steerer tube without wiggling and after trying for two weeks, am giving up.
So... has anyone used Evans Cycles in Notting Hill for workshop repairs ? Wanted to hear if anyone had anything positive or negative to say about them. I sort of want to deal with this issue today and sadly, the non-chain LBS are all closed on Sundays around Notting Hill.
Cross posted in the MTB Workshop forum, as I couldn't really decide which forum was better for this question, so sorry for the duplicate.
Thanks

You might want to check the prices of what needs doing, they are not cheap, you will be looking at £25 for fork fitting alone (exc. any parts you may need).

Not used that evans but I'm pretty sure you will not get it sorted today as you have to book it in to have the work done.
