I hate couriers, My new scandal was on it's way this morning in bits in 2 boxes, but guess what, they only had 1 box :x

It should be here on Monday but I'm away so I won't get to get building until next weekend. I so wanted it built today so I could get out tomorrow.

Anyway, this is the biggest box of shiny shiny I have ever had, all my xmas's at once. Check it out.

I think this is why LBS are dying nothing beats the thrill of standing in the window waiting for the big van to arrive full of shiny things.

It's a lovely light frame and pretty impressed with the build quality.

More pics to follow as it comes alive.

These on-one feegle bars are funny old things, they feel really wierd, give them a few rides and see how I get on with them

    2010_03060007.jpg

    Jobs to do :

    Cut down the steerer tube
    Cable up the rear mech
    Fit chain
    Fit peddals
On-one sent the wrong caliper mount for the front so had to order one of them
Cut down the brake hoses to fit and bleed brakes
Tinker with the rides and controlls position.
Nip up all bolts and screws

    Get out and ride it!

I must admit just sitting on it it seems very wierd with the bigger wheels!

Cheers sheepsteeth, tbh I was kind of dreading the pink frame after i bought it but it looks pretty good.

One job down this morning, Managed to cut the brake hoses to length, one of those jobs yo dread for the first time but it was simples! Just need some mineral oil now to bleed the brakes.
