Stretching small jersey

Hi all

Bought a jersey off fleabay recently, and although it fits generally, its alittle shy on the sleeves. Is there anyway I could safely stretch the material? Will washing it on a high temperature just damage it? The materials 90% Polyester and 10% Spandex.

If you was it in hot water it's more likely to shrink!

Wash it cool then whilst it's wet stretch it out then leave to dry naturally.
