Chainring wear

I got this Ultegra 6603 chainset second hand for a decent price. I'm a bit concerned though by the wear on the big and middle rings, the middle in particular seems to have developed a definite sharp sort of tooth pattern. Also look on the back, I think you can see where the metal has been worn.

The granny ring seems fine.

It can sometimes be difficult to tell given the quite sophisticated shifting profiling.

What you reckon? OK? Replace the middle ring? Or you reckon I need to replace the bigger one too?

Probly not what you want to hear, but I reckon you need to replace both.

    Nice pics!

The big one should be OK for some time yet but the middle one is done for.

Agree with John T - plenty of life left in the big ring - middle ring is fooked tho'
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

The middle ring looks like it's far enough gone for a new chain to slip on it.
    The outer will be OK.
