1998/97 Steel Rigid Stumpjumper

I have a 1998 (I think) rigid Stumpjumper from new. This is the bike which got me into cycling. It's stamped Ritchley Logic Pro Nitanium tubing. Marvellous bike. Most of the components have been changed over time.
My local bike shop is always impressed by it when I have it repaired or serviced. Is this sort of bike now collectable?
Condition is good for its age as I've mainly used it as a "hybrid" with semi-slick tyres on roads, lanes and tracks and cleaned it after every ride.
