Go for Chorus - not much difference to Record. However Super Record is a different matter...Expertly coached by http://www.vitessecyclecoaching.co.uk/

Questions, if SR better then DA and Red? as its costs quite a bit more? from looking it seems Chorus is the same price bracket as DA/Red from most shops?0

I bought a Chorus groupset from Merlin just after Christmas. They were the cheapest I could find at the time and the price doesn't seem to have changed since.
I couldn't tell you if the Record is worth the extra money, but I can say that the Chorus seems to work pretty well (on the few occasions I've been able to use it).
Finally, you really do need 11 speeds.Who you gonna believe? Me or your own eyes?0 -
Another vote for Chorus and Merlin0

Just found JE James at £750... which is dirt cheap!
11sp why not? the more the merier! at least i could go 12-27 and still have a smooth transition from 1 gear to the next!
As for record if i could getit less than 1k i might go for that purely on looks as the front and rear mechs are all carbon! other than that chorus looks the way to go at the mo!0
