I am heading to Settle next week for a weekend break with the family. Just wondering if anyone knows of any good Mtb routes around, there as im thinking about taking my bike ?

This ones not bad.Its not that technical but has some tough climbs for such a short route.

You could just start in Settle instead of Malham.That way you get to do Stockdale Lane,the best bit of the ride,towards the end.

You had better like gates if you do that route I seem to remember about 20 of the bl**dy things.

Nice route through fantastic scenery and the Ye Old Naked Man cafe in Settle is a cycling legend for its cake

Try mtbthedales website http://www.mtbthedales.org.uk/. Its got settle loop with OS map and excellent directions. Quite a few other routes on there as well
