i thought the concept of a bespoke video made for video music channels only came about in the mid '80s?0 -

i thought the concept of a bespoke video made for video music channels only came about in the mid '80s?
mid 70s - there was Queen's "Bohemian Rapsody" in about 75 said by many to be the first - though there were earlier efforts. I think the jurys out on Strawberry Fields but it was filmed specifically to be screened with the song so I think it counts.
there were promo films made for some of Bowie's stuff in 72/ 73 - but they were all crap.0 -
