I'm hopefully going to be getting a new cyclocross bike through my works cycle to work scheme soon and would appreciate some input on my shortlist i.e. what the supplier stocks.
I'll be using the bike mostly for commuting with a rucksack so don't want a too racy position, and also using it for family days out towing a tag along bike and hopefuly some cross racing next winter, so out of these
Specialized Tricross- not convinced about a triple chainset though
Genesis vapour- like the idea of top brake levers
Raleigh airlite U6 X- not sure if they can supply this one but it does have a good spec, will a 46/36 chain set have a high enough topend for road use?
Giant TCX 2 - not sure if i can live with sora STI's and those crappy thumb buttons.
Thanks in advance.

I really like the Tricross. I think it looks good, better than the others that you have suggested. So purely on asthetics, I would go for the Specialized Tricross.0
