I am 6ft and 34" waist, according to the Assos size guide Im at the top of the scale for L and bottom of the scale for XL.

Im large built but wonder whether to go Large or XL? ANyone got any experience before i go try them please.

Have the sizes changed in the last 11 years!

They come up small fitting so I would go for the XL (I'm 5'10 with 34 waist and wear the XL)

    Hope this helps
  • Cheers Andy, Im 89 KG too.

I think XL might be the ones then, sure I dont need XLG though

I'm similar height and weight - go for XL
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

Same stats as you but lighter by a few Kgs but wear XLG. With Assos try before you buy.

I'm the same but 32" waist and wear M. They are tight, short and really pull on the shoulders even on the bike but my LBS wouldn't sell me the L, said they would definitely be too big.

I'm 31-32" waist and 6'0" and tried the M and L at my LBS and decided L was perfect for me.

  • I have a 35" waist and large. But I'm shorter. XL will give you the length you need to the shouldrs.

Cheers Guys, I tried them all on Uno's, Milles, & F1.13 & settled on the Large. But they all cut different so just asking will never satisfy the question

Just need to get them sweaty now

No offence but I think some of you are missing the point with these shorts.
They are supposed to be tight fitting.
Some of the sizes quoted suggest that some of you would be better off in a pair of baggy MTB shorts.
I am 34"waist and 6' tall-the large are fine.Wouldn't want them any bigger.

So am I and I got the Large, that said the XL fitted great too, but the leg grippers were a little baggy which swayed me
