Equipe or Elite?

Hi
In the market for a pair of light, strong and fast wheels, to replace some Ritchey Pro wheels on a Boardman Team Carbon for training, sportives and perhaps the odd race in the future.
Budget about three to four hundred pounds, but you can get a pair of Mavic Ksyrium Equipes for £200 from Merlin, and for a £150 more you can get the Elites.
Question is, would I notice a difference in performance from the Elites over the Equipes, or should I save my £150 for something else?
Thanks

I cant help with a direct comparison but I have some Elites which I bought new some 5 years or so ago, and they are still solid and true.
I've experienced no issues at all, love them and they still look great.0 -
These seem decent value with couple hundred off:

Or the RS80?0 -
Thanks for the replies.
There's a lot of choice at this point, out of the Equipe, Elite, Racing 3 or the RS80, is there an obvious choice, and if not, which offers best value for money? I think the Racing 3 is the wheel with the most money off...0 -
Out of those I'd go for the RS80s...
The rims are fantastic!0 -
both excellent wheels
very little difference between them in ride quality apart from weight
if you do alot of racing then go for elites else equipe should be fine
pretty good price for both
the elites are 75% more.0 -
I went for Elites and at the merlin price I really don't regret it.0
