New year, new job, new bike soon!

New job is now (at long last) within commuting distance.
Started on Friday, with the missus bike (Spesh sirrus elite) which I have customized a bit.
Exit the no-name brake levers and Vs, replaced by some much nicer shimano (XT levers and Deore Vs)
Exit the flats, replaced with the Wellgo flat/spds.
And since it's for commuting, some SKS 'guards.

An hour to cover the 10 miles from Ealing to St Paul's, each way.
It felt great, though, not being used to her bike, I should probably have gone for a bit less pressure in the tyres.

Tyres (35) which got replaced by some nice randonneur 28.

Today, second try, and I did it in 50 mns. OK, not getting lost in Hyde Park sure helped, but it feels great!

Now I'm just waiting for my new mount, though, as long as the company I'm working for won't give me a "parking" space, I won't use for commuting!
FCN 4(?) (Commuter - Genesis Croix de Fer)
FCN 3 (Roadie - Viner Perfecta)
