This is the only pic I could see of the Soul on your Flikr account.

Use Photobucket, it's much easier to use (imo)

It's ridiculous that I still haven't ridden it yet - awful weather, still aching after an off on the Meta and no time off work. Manyana.....

Nice looking bike!! Love the frame1

How heavy is it? Hope you manage a good ride on it this weekend.
Constantly trying to upgrade my parts. It is a long road ahead as things are so expensive for little gain. n+1 is always the principle in my mind.

My rather inaccurate scales put it at about 26lbs.

I've got out a few times on the Soul now and I was pleasantly suprised at how supple the rear end is and how competent the front end is. You can point it down hill and the front will just take the hits no problem and it feels very stable while the back absorbs the hits so it is really pretty comfortable for a hardtail. I've had the front a bit soft I think as I've gone over the bars a couple of times now due to rather too much dive hitting holes (that's my excuse anyway) but I'm sure once I have the forks behaving the way I like it'll be pretty much as fast as some of my full-suss coleagues. The way I have the back - big tyres and long seatpost has really absorbed the bumps, in fact so much so that I'm going to try slightly lower volume, faster tyres and see how that is. And up hills the bike is good with the forks wound down but not superfast (though that could just be my slow climbing pace or the big tyres).
