Where do I go?

When I look at the forums there are those for mountain road and cummuting but none for "general" touring .

My preference is for cycling in the country, hill climbing and the occassional off-road (with 700c wheels) but not for speed or rough stuff.

Cant we have our own section?

    Of those I only read C+, the others have no interest to me. I also read the CTC magazine and got a German touring mag last year which was excellent

    My bike is a Dawes 601 discovery with deore 27 gearing as I need it ,around North Lancs Dales and Lakes

    I usually do afternoon rides of 5-6 hours in warmer months and cover 50 65 miles including some good hills

    I am working on a route of 42 miles for C+ at present
