Hi all,
I purchased a 2010 specialized allez sport last week (first road bike) and have a few questions.
I'm 6 foot and purchased a 56cm frame after being told in my LBS that it was a good size. I've taken the bike out a couple of times and to be honest it feels fine, I didnt feel uncomfortable (other than a tiny bit of back ache but I think this is natural as i've never owned a road bike and haven't been out on a bike in a few months as my last one was stolen) and the bike felt good to ride. So my question is do you think a 56cm fram is too small for a 6 foot tall person. The only reason I ask is because a lot on the bike size charts I see online advise that a 58cm frame is better.
Thanks,

56cm at 6ft sounds reasonable - but there's more to it than that. Seat height, reach and stem length are much more important IMO...0

Sounds right to me, you've got a bonus there too, it'll be lighter
A small frame can be made to fit, a too big frame and you're stuffed.0 -
Guys thank's a lot for your comments, you've put me at ease now.0
