TT / Road Bike Advice Wanted

New here, so first hello!! I've been into mountain bikes for years but now want something a little different.
I need a new road bike for training (60-80 miles per week) but I entend to enter some TT races later in the year.
Funds dont allow purchasing both a road & TT bike so I'm trying to work a compromise.
I'm thinking of getting a Ribble Reac/Deda TT setup with road bars at first to which I can then convert to TT bars when I start racing.
Has anyone had success running road bars on a TT bike, anything else to think of?
Groupset will be Shimano 105, running Campag wheels.
Thanks Andy

Most TT bikes are set up for different handling and geometry for use with aero bars - handling might be a bit odd for road use. Whereas getting a road bike and fitting clip-ons might be a more suitable alternative. You may find having to a stem swap / adjustable stem required between the optimum riding positions.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Your best bet would be to get a Cervelo S1 or S2 (depending on budget), or other "aero" road frame, like the Ridley Noah. You can get '08 versions of the Noah for a little over S1 money, around £1,300ish, and get a more unique, carbon frameset. Then just stick clip-on bars, fiddle teh set-up a bit, and you're away.0 -
Felt AR series might fit the bill?
I'm not the most knowledgable on this sort of thing but I don't think you can use campag wheels with a 105 groupset. :? I think Campag use a different freehub. (I could be very wrong here. )0 -
Thanks guys, have done a little number crunching and i'll be building a Ribble Carbon Deda, with enough ££ left for a decent winter trainer. Hopefully both will serve my requirements well.
Thanks again for the help. Andy0
