    I once contacted my MP about my early day motion. He said it wasn't really his area and I should probably visit a doctor.

    So the EDM has nothing to do with the Met's unit then? I never did get the relevence of this unit to cycling per se. There was never anything to suggest that the problem with HGV's and cyclists on London's streets was being caused by HGV's not being H&S complient.
