    Don't want to sound cynical, but what about the policing of plain and simple bad driving you see on the commute?

    Good news, common sense finally taken into account.

    Now, for a shift in focus on road safety from the police in general as cjcp points out. Less on the chasing news paper headlines on going after cyclists on pavements and more on going after all road users who disobey the rules.
