Bike Box

Hi Guys,

I.m off to Italy in May to watch the Giro and taking my bike with me.Does anyone know of any decent companies who hire out bike boxes for airline use? I've looked on google and seen bikeboxalan. Looks like a good box, but not cheap for 2 weeks

The first time I went abroad, I hired from AW Cycles. This isn't local for you but try phoning around to see if an LBS near you has hire boxes.

I had this place http://www.roofbox.co.uk book marked as another hire source but for some reason they don't seem to have bike boxes available at the moment but could be worth a call.

I now have my own BikeBox so i'm afraid that I don't keep up to date with who does/doesn't hire.

I was going to make a post about box's and hireing one.

Im off to my mums in spain for a weeks training and a hol with the mrs! but dont really want to buy a box to transport my bike in!

you could try bikeboxalan. I own one of these and very good but they aren't cheap. They do hire them out but you have to collect from them so depends on where you are based

Looks like pickup only from London so unlikely to be much use, BUT - you never know..
