Got my GT Avalanche 1.0 on the CTW scheme around Nov last year, had a few rides but its been in the garage over Xmas and Jan dur to weather/flu/work etc.
Went out last weekend, and again today, and giving the bike a good scrub today noticed something odd.
I chose very carefully when buying this bike, and researched extensively, despite being a newbie, to make sure I got the best spec I could afford etc.
Anyway, I have the spec list I printed off at purchase time, and have just checked online at several stores, and it would appear that unless the bike fairy has sneaked in the garage and upgraded my bike over the last two months, my bike arrived incorrectly specced in my favour, with and XT rear mech instead the the SLX shadow advertised.

Newb I guess - checked the spec but not on the bike :shock:
