Halo hub 20mm conversion

I've just taken ownership of a Halo Spin Doctor front hub with 20mm conversion. Everytime I remove the maxle, the 20mm convertors just fall off. There seems to be no way of holding them in place. I've had experience of the Hope equivalent, where they're kept in place with the circlip, but the Halo is different. I've even tried using thick grease but they still fall off the hub.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hah, what nicklouse said. They just sit in there, not much you can do.

I tried that and promptly dropped the rest of the bike putting scratches in the frame. :evil:

Hence posting on here, trying to resolve the problem so it doesn't happen again.

ouch, been there, done that. Admittedly not trying to catch 20mm convertors, but doing other such things!
