I am considering buying this frame and would appreciate anyones opinions on it.

Also not sure what size to get. The Planet X site reccomends going for a TT frame smaller than a conventional road frame, would other TTers agree with this ? If the horizontal top tube length on my road bike is 56.5 cm how much shorter should it be on a TT frame?

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Cheers, Dave

P-X advise is correct - drop a couple of cm in reach but be wary that you knees don't hit the back of your aero bars.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    I'm 173cm.with a 30" inner leg. I ride a 54cm (ctt seat tube) felt road bike which has a 545 mm tt.

I've just bought a px stealth in small & it fits well . I thought about a medium, but read px website & tried a friend who was sponsored by them. She confirmed small tt frame is the way to go to get the right position.

You can grow a small frame with stems @ seat position, but you can't shrink a frame that is too big.

Can you try a frame out? I'm in Glasgow & have a small one if you want to try it.
  • Thanks for very helpfull advice. Moonshine, your frame would definately be too small for me, but thanks for offer anyway.
