No offence, but I don't think that the thread was stickied purely for your benefit

To the worlds press - i can confirm Bails runs round like rambo and shoots anything on MW2.....its a good thing friendly fire isn't tolerated

I would say MW2 as i like the game personally, but my bro in law has Bioshock 2 and he says its a quality game.

Mw2 single player is short particularly short if your a CoD veteran.

As for xbox, i am getting rid of mine. My xbox is collecting dust now!

I doubt military training would help, as it seems to be 'sprint around and shoot anything that moves' rather than any considered strategy. I'd imagine real soldiers are taught to take a little bit more care of themselves. "Sure I died 10 times, but I got a 5 kill streak" doesn't really work in the real world

    Damn right

Marple: I was kidding, it sounded like you were saying 'the thread was deleted because I don't have an xbox anymore'.

I have no idea how anyone can play an FPS game without a mouse.
I have no idea how anyone can play any sort of game WITH a mouse, it's just wrong. Controllers FTW.

I had a discussion with a mate about this.
Apparently he thinks that a mouse is quicker and acurate but a controller has analogue sticks and buttons. This means with a controller you can strafe slowly round corners or press a button slightly to bring up a sight.
Still you could just plug a controller into your PC...

BTW Bioshock 2, should be amazing...

You can strafe with easy using a keyboard + mouse combo too. 8)
  • Havent played MW2 but I can tell you that Bioshock 2 was an amazing experience. If you've played Bioshock 1 and got as engrossed in the storyline as I did then Bioshock 2 will be so much better. There are so many nods towards Bioshock 1 (for instance many Splicers believe Jack, you in Bioshock 1, was a demigod and worship him).

The combat is better too. Plasmids and weapons at the same time. Setting cyclone traps and then dumping hornets into them or fire or lightning to make them even deadlier is an awesome touch.

    Well recommended.
  • Admittedly I do own a PC or two and although I haven't played Bioshock 2, I'd recommend it over MW2, which I have played
My reasoning is that Bioshock was absolutely awesome, I loved every moment of the game, the adventure, the environments, the plot, using those silly little pipe puzzles to hack vending machines and "How much is that doggy in the window" playing over the PA system!
I'll certainly be collecting a copy of BS2 soon as well at the new AVP release
