To those who wear the Optilabs, do you find that sweat ever gathers at the bottom of the rims? I sweat like a loon and have to wear M-Frame-style Uvexes.

I've got contacts at the moment, but don't like wearing them in work, but it's a bit of a menace wearing glasses in the rain. So, I thought about getting some of those Rudy Projects with inserts for the commute to solve the sweat problem.

    "It stays down, Daddy."
    "Exactly."

My Oakleys are OK in fairly steady rain - although the water doesn't actually run off as I thought it might, this doesn't affect the day time vision (not sure yet if this would still be the case at night).
  • I use Kontrol sports frames and rx inserts. i have a prescription of +7 / +8 plus astigmatism so wrap around scripted frames won;t work for me due to the affect of the bend in the lense.
The kontrol ones ar £24 each or you can get 3 pairs for £48. I went for the 3 pair option so I have a clear pair for night riding, Black pair for glaring sunlight and a red/blueish pair for when I want to wear something different. The rx insert cost me £50 to get lenses fitted and swaps from pair to pair as I see fit. Plus kontrol also do a yellow pair that I like. So I'll get them for £24 and put the rx bit in. If I'd gone down the road of having sunglasses with a scripted lense I'd be looking at £200 + for every new set of glasses I want or every time my script changes.
If you can't wear contacts which IMHO would be the best option then I think thes can't be beat.
