Is it just me that has a problem or does everyone do it?
If I go somewhere or plan a tip I have to check out what MTB shops there are where I'm off to or on the way.
Prime example. On Monday the mrs and I Headed down to Newark from North Wales to stay at her parents before visiting On-One the next day to view bikes.
Before going I planned my shop visits. Monday on the way we went to North west MTB in Stockport, and then hit all of JE James' shops in Shefield, Chesterfield & Rotherham.
Tuesday we headed up to On-one in Rotherham but on the way we had to visit Sherwood pines. After we left on-one knowing we were passing stockport we visited North West MTB again, just icase something had come in
I'm lucky my other half is mad for it like me or I'd more than likely be single.
Am I alone in this? :? :? :?

I'm a bit like that in that I'll check out a couple of the local shops when I go somewhere. I wouldn't have bothered with stopping the same place twice though.0 -
Twice is a charm, three times is a bit OCD. Sheff, Rotherham and Chesterfield? Funny story from my office, when I hired a guy called Rich, he moved to Camberley, very close to the bottom of Swinley forest. He asked me what there was to do round there, and of course I replied ' You need a mountain bike, you're right on the edge of Swinley forest'. So he bought a bike a few weeks later, and his bank manager has never forgiven me. Its an addiction alright.A Flock of Birds

I just go on moredirt and see what trails are near where I'm going. Rude not to pop by
Disclaimer: I would never ever ever do this on work time of course. Honest my bike won't fit in the van . . . .0 -

Stopped the second time because we didnt have the time to hang around and have a good old look around and chat sh!t the first time.
Its worth visiting random shops because you never know what you will come accross, theres always that hidden gem lurking somewhere.Niner Air 9 Rigid

Was at it again at the weekend, passing through Nottingham on Saturday and managed to fit in Leisure Lakes and Evans.Niner Air 9 Rigid
