converting to 2 ring setup

hi guys so my new project is to throw away my granny-ring and go for a 2 ring setup , I ride in denmark where I barely use my granny-ring so im obviously also gonna change my middle and big chainring size,
im thinking about 28-30T on the smallest and 40T on the large(i do use a 11-32t cassette), my current crank is Shimano SLX and I would like to use stronglite rings with my SLX crankset because I find that the shimano ones are to soft, and i get alot of chainsuck,
im gonna run the two chainrings in the middle and lower position for the best shifting, so what sizes of chainrings fits the SLX cranks?
oh and im going to keep my current derailleurs and shifters and just tighten the limitscrews.
hope you guys can help me save some weight and get som serious leg pain on the steep climbs

The SLX middle is steel with carbon - outer is alloy.
Check the BCD and pattern to see what will fit.0
