Lake district ambleside area

Hi, can anyone recommend a good technical 2 - 3 hr route around ambleside area that i can ride. I will be down in the area early april for the weekend and was hoping to catch a little lake district action while I'm down.

    I did the MBR route above today and it was great!

    If you want a tad shorter route, then there is another one in this month's MBR that's 20km long

    The vertebrae graphics book has a few around Ambleside too

    Thanks guys, i'll try the route out and look for the new route in this months MBR.

    I'd go up Jenkins Crag to top of Garbun pass, turn around and retrace your steps. Challenging.

    or drop down to Stavely and get the SO/someone to colect you
