First bike and thrilled with it, already planning the upgrades I'd like to do. If only cycling wasn't such expensive business :)

Only done 100 miles and as you can see already need new bartape, I was thinking of red.

    Very nice first bike you have there. :D

    However, I'd advise that you don't upgrade. When you come to sell it won't have added anything to the sell on price of a 1.2.

    Save your money for your next bike, which in itself will be an upgrade.

    Almost got one of those - settled for a Orbea Aqua TTG instead. Still a nice bike though.

    I agree, i bought an Orbea Aqua San Remo as a first race bike and didnt upgrade as it was great standard for getting more into the sport... sold it when i bought my Trek Madone and it felt like a big upgrade :)

    Still got a trek 1000 as a winter bike and has been solid for years :)

    Nice looking bike as well by the way

    A very nice ride i had one last year was going to go down the upgrade route but more sensible to put the money away for a better bike now have a trek 2.3 2010 got a deal in the january sales love it
